Admit it, those are the first things that come to mind when you hear the words "NBA" and "United Kingdom" in the same sentence. In fact, more likely, your first thoughts were "that posh dude who came out the closet", "that 7-foot bust taken ahead of Nowitzki in '98" and "that guy from Sudan who plays for the Bulls".
And you'd be right. Those are the things that the UK is famous for when it comes to basketball.
(Here's hoping that the 2012 Olympics in London changes all that)
Talking of which, the year leading up to the Olympics seems like the perfect opportunity to start a blog offering NBA insight from across the pond. Sure, we ('we' being the British) may be pretty bad at basketball, but some of us still care enough to follow it avidly and, in my case, write about it.
